At NAEP, we understand the pivotal role educational leaders play in shaping the learning landscape. Our “Tailored Professional Development” Programs are designed to equip charter school principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, and teacher leaders with the tools, knowledge and strategies needed to bring accelerated learning to the students.

A Tailored Experience
Mathematical Knowledge Modules: We provide content to enhance the standards that your state teaches, we are fluent in CCSS, TN, GA and FL as we have either helped write these standards or have extensive training from the state in these standards or have been facilitators of these standards. This knowledge can be focused on some of these areas (this list is not exhaustive):
- Understanding what your state standards mean
- How to access your state standards through word problems
- Standards for Mathematical Practice and how they fit with the standard in your classroom
- Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards and how they fit with the standard in your classroom
- 3 Act Lessons – how to make the engagement and content relevant to the standard
- Hyper docs – content learning through documents that were curated by the teacher to make the standard
Literacy Knowledge Modules: We provide content to enhance the standards that your state teaches, we are fluent in CCSS, TN and FL as we have either helped write these standards or have extensive training from the state in these standards or have been facilitators of these standards. This knowledge can be focused on some of these areas (this list is not exhaustive):
- Understanding what your state standards mean and how to implement them in the classroom.
- Creating a reading focus plan that includes phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
- Creating a writing focus plan which meets the needs of our state assessment for writing that demonstrates characterization, plot, setting, theme and style that is adapted to each genre of either narrative, fiction, nonfiction and informational.
- Novel Studies – learning designed to inspire and have students increase reading comprehension and the love of reading.
Parent Academy Workshop: We believe that in order to have a balanced learning experience the parents become a vital part of their students’ progress. Therefore, we help parents understand the standards, state assessments and how to help their child succeed.
